In February 1909 the lecture of the mathematician Hermann Minkowski about Time and Space was published. He was one of Einstein's professor in Zurich. In the installation the lecture is staged:

A tribune made out of a scaffolding refers architecturally to an auditorium or a mission control center.

It also is structured after the design of one of the Indian observatories in Jaipur, which were built in the nineteenth century for measuring the time.

On the opposite side a long scaffolding table is installed in front of a screen. A laser pointer shows to the screened end titles of a movie. They quote the beginning of Minkowsi's lecture: " From now on only a kind of an union of time and space shall keep its independency and time itself and space itself shall decline to shadows."
