DRIVERS COMMENT

Ein Kunsthistoriker kreist um Verkehrsinseln, Design und Gesellschaft kommentierend
An Art Historian drives in traffic circles commenting design and society (CH,F,UAE)
Traffic circles with its design and urban planning as well as specific sculptural works shall be documented by one view through the window from the co-driver‘s position. However the driver himself is commenting the sculptures and architectural set ups; he observes his circling journey, discovering new things each time he goes around. By the specifics of the video and digital media, it appears a combination of steady camera (head and car window will be the same) with repeating landscape outside. In his excitingly discovering comments the driver also uses several expressions from art history as well as contextual affirmations and practical explanations about manufacturing issues of artificial landscaping as artistic expression.

PUBLIC LEARNING

Changing „learning tools“ - changing "learning habits"
How much does economization as global goal affect the rules and sentimental imitation of past learning habits?
What is to be learnt in case the knowledge is transmitted into other spaces - mainly undiscovered imaginative ones? Georg Friedrich Hegel (1770-1831) proposed a philosophy of discipline, which expressed the process of expanding consciousness. Whether agreeing or not, it influenced the educational systems and traditions until now!
In a deconstructed view learning environments are displaid and materialized as a measurement of knowledge´s accessability in public.
The personal relationships to spaces will be adressed as well as its impact on the immediate need for sustainability.

SCHLECKSTENGELSTAND

(Arbeitstitel)
